This way, ECO2SMART optimises the refrigeration production operation for longer periods than any other system. In other words, it saves energy for more hours each year. 2 Efficient even with extreme temperatures In high temperature situations or peaks, ECO2SMART loses less power than any other system, maintaining its efficiency by using only CO2. This eliminates the need for investment in additional components and avoids wasting water for subcooling (= Minimal footprint). 3 Best COP in the market at high temperatures ECO2SMART improves the COP at elevated temperatures by more than 15% over parallel compression and by more than 30% over standard systems. To achieve this, ECO2SMART optimises the suction pressure and efficiency of the additional compressors based on the outlet temperature of the cooler gas, improving the working pressure and overall plant efficiency. ECO2SMART+ is the evolution of our ECO2 system that allows working with ultra-low superheat in both MT and LT operation, increasing evaporation temperatures.
